高校入試の
小論文対策をする場合
まずは「作文」との違いを
理解しよう。
【作文と小論文】
「作文」：体験と感想
「小論文」：意見と理由
ちなみに
埼玉県の公立高校入試
および北辰テストの大問５は
解答用紙に「作文」
と書かれているため
「作文」に分類される。
しかし
作文の条件として
体験と考えを
書くことが
求められていることから
個人的には
「作文」と「小論文」の
中間に位置するのでは
ないかと思う。
それでは
小論文の書き方の
話に移る。
【序論】
まずは提示されたテーマに対する
「意見」を明確にする。
ここがあやふやになると
小論文自体も
輪郭がぼやけてくる。
簡潔に書くことがコツだ。
この部分を
「序論」と呼ぶ。
【本論】
次に意見の理由を書く。
自分の意見に対して
「なぜそう考えるのか」
という問いをぶつけて
説明をしていく。
そして
その説明に対する
説明を重ねて書くことで
読み手に説得力を
感じさせることが出来る。
「作文」ではないから
体験を書いてはいけないと
思いがちだが
そんなことはない。
もちろん、自分が体験したことのない
専門分野の話であれば
データに基づいて論理を
展開しなければならないが
そんなテーマはおそらく
高校入試で出ないだろう。
説得力のある
説明が出来るのであれば
自分の体験を
意見の理由として
積極的に使おう。
この部分を【本論】と呼ぶ。
【結論】
最後に自分の意見を
もう一度繰り返す。
冒頭と
全く同じ表現にならないように
注意する。
この部分を【結論】と言う。
